Shockheaded Peter is a show that has delighted audiences across the globe since 1999. In its latest incarnation it is playing to sell-out audiences in New York.

Shockheaded Peter has had the capacity to bring people of all ages together from a wide range of diverse backgrounds. It serves to remind us that theatre would do well to preserve that which is uniquely theatrical, rather than aping and competing with the parallel worlds of film and television. Far from signalling the death of theatre, they could prove to be its liberation.(Micheal Morris)

This show has always required a delicate balancing act of amplification that sounds totally natural and un-amplified whilst playing to houses from 300 to 1500 seats. The show's apparent simplicity is testament to the meticulously careful sound design.
